Mine d’Or beach
The Mine d’Or beach is the emblematic beach of Pénestin, with its ochre cliffs and 2 kilometres of fine sand. As well as swimming, you can enjoy walks and paragliding flights. Guided tours reveal its fascinating geological history. It is also the starting point for a hiking trail.
Men Armor beach
Quiet and ideal for birdwatching, it lies at the mouth of the Vilaine, offering a peaceful setting for picnics.
Camaret beach
With magnificent views over the unspoilt banks of the Vilaine, this tranquil beach is perfect for walking and watching the mussel farming industry.
Halguen beach
Popular with anglers, this peaceful cove offers tranquillity and easy access to footpaths.
Loguy beach
Popular at high tide, it is ideal for shellfish gathering and lounging, with sanitary facilities nearby.
Lomer beach
Situated on the Vilaine estuary, it is also a popular spot for shore fishing, and offers opportunities for swimming and relaxing, as well as access to the GR34.
Source beach
An extension of Plage de la Mine d’Or, Plage de la Source also boasts ochre cliffs and a peaceful setting. A first-aid post is open in July and August. It is also the starting point for geological tours of the Mine d’Or.
Maresclé beach
A pretty beach with mooring points for yachtsmen, ideal for swimming and relaxing.
Loscolo Beach
Fine sandy beach with magnificent views of the south coast, excellent bathing water and nearby parking.
Bile Beach
Located near a mussel farm, it attracts anglers and offers stable bathing water quality.
Palandrin Beach
Famous for windsurfing and kite surfing, this large sandy beach is perfect for families and offers guided tours of its geological history.
Goulumer beach
For the more adventurous, this small, secluded cove offers a peaceful place to swim. The bathing water is of good quality.
