Surrounded by the sea and the 25km of coastline, the town of Penestin invites you to come and explore its landscapes.
Discover the magnificent beach of La Mine d’Or, located 2km from the campsite. This beach is one of the treasures of the Morbihan department, classified as a geological site. Whether on foot or by paraglider, you will be dazzled by the golden and ocher colors that stand out especially at sunset.
The port of Pénestin specializes in the cultivation of Bouchot mussels. It houses an old lighthouse now rehabilitated into a museum. Do not miss the visit of the House of mussel farming, you will discover the mussel farming history of the city.
It is only at low tide that the sea gives way to its strange pieces of wood all lined up, where the Bouchot mussels nicknamed “black gold” are lodged.
For shore fishing enthusiasts, head to Pointe du Bile, a real playground for harvesting.

Do not miss the coastal path that runs along the entire coastline. From the port of Tréhiguier to the Pointe du Bile, passing by the beach of La Source, the Mine d’Or or the marina of Poudrantais.
